ARTIST BIO
In 1979 I earned an art degree in the States from the University of Notre Dame with a concentration in etching.
Since that time I have consistently exhibited, explored and expressed my ideas in a variety of media including print, fiber, paint, metal and combinations thereof.
I have been creating art jewellery since the early 90's and find it to be a perfect medium to continue my expression of ideas about spirituality and nature.
Travelling and now living part of the year in New Zealand has inspired and informed an ongoing collection of work some of which can be seen at my Hahei studio during the summer months.
Meg creates wearable art jewelry and small metal objects that are appealing to both men and women. Using an array of precious and non precious metals, stones and other materials she shapes them into a form that is greater than the sum of its parts and imbued with the essence of something alive with meaning. Through her work she shares her viewpoint and experience of living in our “garden of Eden”.
