CHEF, SCULPTOR, ARTIST AND MUSICIAN SUPREMO! Well known for the art on display on the cafe walls and around the garden, Eggsentric Cafe and its chef, Dave Fowell, is a must when you are touring Mercury Bay.
Eggsentric Cafe is surrounded by gardens and situated at beautiful Flaxmill Bay. A short ferry ride from Whitianga, you can call to arrange a free pick-up at night, or enjoy a lovely 15 min walk during the day.
They use local food and suppliers, are organic where possible, have vegetarian and gluten free options and are open for brunch from 10.30am - 2.30pm, or just pop in for coffee and cake. Come along for a top class dinner from 6pm - bookings essential.
