Sunday March 9, Noon – 5:00 pm Cooks Beach Vineyard and Go Vino invite you to join them for a "Lazy Sunday Afternoon".
Cooks Beach Vineyard is located on an elevated, north facing site that looks out over Mercury Bay and the Coromandel Peninsula coastline. The site is ideally located – capturing the most of summer’s long sunshine hours, and well-protected from the prevailing westerly winds. This location, coupled with a temperate climate, create uniquely-flavoured Coromandel wines. Our objective is to make approachable, easy-to-drink wines, and we believe we have achieved this with our single grape, single vineyard Pinot Noir and Sauvignon Blanc. Shakespeare Cliff Vineyard’s award winning Merlot will also be on hand.
Go Vino is the tapas bar/restaurant situated at Cooks Beach. The team are creating a range of delicious tastes and platters to compliment the wines.
So bring your blanket and/or deck chair and join us for a lazy afternoon in the vineyard. With music of P.P.R.S. and Avocado Oil organized by Dave Fowell, wine from Cooks Beach Vineyard and Shakespeare Cliff and food from Go Vino coming together to create a perfect relaxed atmosphere for all to enjoy.
