Description and Biographies:

Art People is an independent art school.

Situated near the Marina on a quiet street Art People provides a comfortable atmosphere for your choose from acrylic and watercolor painting; wheel throwing and sculptural ceramics; paper collage; analog fotographic; weaving and other textile activities; assemblage. We also try to incorporate new art forms such as ikebana, performance sculpture, screen printing on clay and eco-art.    

Judy Meehl recently initiated Art People intending to provide a positive space for people with an interest in art as she enjoys active involvement in the arts community.

Lutz Gaebler, the General Manager, is a freelance artist who used many different materials in his explorations for more than 20 years including studies in Germany and travels in Europe.   He is also the ceramic instructor and will have on exhibit analog foto collages as well as ceramics.

Warwick Lidgard, a well known watercolor artist whose personal work is moving into acrylic is the main painting tutor.
