ARTIST BIO
Alan and Julia Rhodes established their rural pottery in 1977. It is nestled in a beautiful bush setting, and visitors are welcome to browse through the studio and shop and enjoy a working potters' environment. Alan & Julia have the unique bonus of using stoneware clay from their own property that they fire up to 1300ºC, and are able to produce beautiful hand-thrown pots and sink basins with magnificent glazes that are unique to the Coromandel. All their dishes and the fish are handmade in their studio and are ovenproof, microwave and dishwasher safe.
