Mercury Bay Art Escape Trust Formed The Organizing Committee together with the Advisory Board have elected to form the Mercury Bay Art Escape Trust to more rapidly advance our vision of being recognized as THE most respected Open Studio Art Tour in New Zealand. Through the Trust, we will work diligently to make art lovers and art buyers from throughout New Zealand aware of the richness, quality and eclectic character of the Coromandel Peninsula's Mercury Bay area art scene using the following goals to guide our effort: a. Showcase Diverse, Eclectic, Renowned & Emerging talent b. Develop awareness of the Value of the Arts in the region c. Promote both the Event and the Location d. Create a tour that is always Dynamic in Scope and Character e. Target promotion to Art Lovers and Art Buyers f. Create ”Top Shelf” ancillary events g. Ensure an Enjoyable experience at Each venue on the tour Writing a Vision statement is relatively easy; realizing it requires the help of many people who share enthusiasm for the words and back it up through generous support. The 2011 Art Escape marked the genesis of the MBAE Trust and we are inviting you to be part of that vision; Become a Member at one of the following levels and help unleash the positive impact a vibrant arts culture will have on the area!
