Art has been an integral part of Verena’s life for many years. Verena studied Art Therapy for seven years in Switzerland.
In 2003 Verena moved to Whitianga and she was able to pursue her love of painting from her new environment.
Challenging herself is important and Verena loves to incorporate new ideas while developing her style. Inspiration for her artwork comes from pattern and colours in nature and the play of shapes.
Her works are in acrylics and mixed media in both expressionist and abstract styles.
