Tim working on 'No Mind'
Tim started carving at five years old when his father put a tiny carving chisel in his hand.
He has been passionate about working with wood ever since.
Tim is a qualified carpenter and joiner and has carved, made furniture and covered most aspects of the wood working trade through his career. “Every piece of wood is unique in its grain, color and structure so I never know exactly what the finished carving will look like, which I find very exciting.
I love New Zealand for its amazing scenery, sea life and beautiful birds. Living on the Coromandel has really inspired me.”
